MacroSep BIO Gold C8 – less hydrophobic and may yield faster separations when compared to C18 and is used to separate many classes of compounds including bio-pharmaceuticals and biologicals. MacroSep BIO Gold columns are manufactured utilizing tight process control of the silica, bonding and column packing processes. The reproducible column packing method control provides exceptional efficiency, symmetry and reproducibility. There are eight phases (see below) all available in 1.9μm, 3μm, 5μm and 10μm particle sizes. The 10μm material is available in bulk.

    Epic HILIC HC

    Epic HILIC-HC (HC for high capacity) is a new stationary phase for HILIC chromatography. It is composed of a polyhydroxylated polymer coated and bound to silica. This composition provides hydroxyl levels that are well above conventional hydroxyl and diol type stationary phases. Many of the commercially stationary phases used for HILIC chromatography are converted normal phase columns. These normal phase columns yield poor methods, poor separations and lack durability.     Epic HILIC RP

This composition provides hydroxyl levels that are well above conventional hydroxyl and diol type stationary phases. Many of the commercially stationary phases used for HILIC chromatography are converted normal phase columns. These normal phase columns yield poor methods, poor separations and lack durability. Epic HILIC-RP is specifically designed for HILIC chromatography and can achieve high performance separations, yield rugged methods and deliver long column life times. Epic HILIC-RP is an excellent choice for samples containing polar and hydrophobic analytes.

    Epic Phenyl Hexyl

    Epic Phenyl-Hexyl uses a hexyl-linked phenyl phase. The hexyl alkyl chain provides for unique selectivity and increased hydrolytic stability when compared to propyl-linked chemistry. The Epic high-density bonding technology delivers to the chromatographer superior performance, durability, and enhanced lot-to-lot reproducibility. Epic Phenyl-Hexyl offers the chromatographer a truly superior phenyl based interaction for enhanced chromatographic performance.

    Epic Diol HILIC

    Epic Diol HILIC 1.8 um columns have been specifically developed for HILIC chromatography. The combination of tight particle size control and our proprietary high density bonding technology deliver superior performance for HILIC separations.

    Epic HILIC FL

    Epic HILIC-FL is useful for retention and separation of polar and non-compounds. Reversed-phase HPLC is widely used for separation of many pharmaceutical compounds. However, retention and separation of many polar analytes has proven to be a challenge. Many of these types of compounds are unretained or poorly retained on most conventional reversed-phase stationary phases, such as ODS. Fortunately, to deal with these types of analytes an alternative mode of chromatography can be utilized using polar stationary phases and highly organic mobile phases. This mode of chromatography has been utilized for many years and is referred to as “hydrophilic interaction chromatography” or HILIC. HILIC chromatography uses mobile phases containing between 5 – 20 % water for the retention of polar compounds.

    Epic C8

    Epic C8 is a highly base deactivated phase that produces the most inert silica C8 material available today. Because of the high density bonding levels (4umol/m2) this column demonstrates superior peak shapes for the most demanding tests. Epic C8 provides exceptional peak shape and selectivity over a wide pH range (pH 1-12).
