Nucleosil SB is a quaternary ammonium groups, strongly basic anion exchanger (SAX), manufactured by Macherey- Nagel, Germany, is spherical totally porous silica and is available in a wide range of pore sizes and particle sizes. It has been cited extensively in the literature and is very well regarded in the chromatography community. Nucleosil is well characterized and reproducible. Partisep™ SAX – closely matches the selectivity and the performance of GE Whatman Partisil® SAX columns. Partisep materials are available in both the standard 10 micron particle size as well as a 5 micron particle size for both shorter run times and higher efficiencies. Most methodologies on Partisil HPLC columns can be transferred to Partisep products without modification, including USP applications.
