Epic Phenyl Hexyl
Epic Phenyl-Hexyl uses a hexyl-linked phenyl phase. The hexyl alkyl chain provides for unique selectivity and increased hydrolytic stability when compared to propyl-linked chemistry. The Epic high-density bonding technology delivers to the chromatographer superior performance, durability, and enhanced lot-to-lot reproducibility. Epic Phenyl-Hexyl offers the chromatographer a truly superior phenyl based interaction for enhanced chromatographic performance.
Epic Polar is a high density C18 packing specifically engineered for the retention of polar analytes. Epic Polar is a reversed phase column that enables highly soluble solutes to fully interact with the bonded hydrocarbon phase, even in pure aqueous mobile phases. Under these highly aqueous conditions, our novel proprietary bonding chemistry allows the bonded chains to remain fully extended in the mobile phase. Epic Polar is a true base deactivated reverse phase column and does not contain any undesirable ion exchange or mixed mode characteristics. Epic Polar can retain highly water-soluble compounds such as small organic acids, water-soluble vitamins, purines and pyrimidines, cathecholamines and other polar compounds.
Epic Polar XP
The Epic Polar XP ODS phase has been specifically developed using patented technology for use with highly aqueous mobile phases, including 100% aqueous, along with a specially developed propriety endcapping technology. Our unique patented approach provides a complete solution to ensure that Epic Polar XP is totally resistant to “phase collapse” under all mobile phase conditions and is able to deliver superior peak performance for amine containing compounds. In addition, Epic Polar XP can be used with any routinely used mobile phase modifier such as acetonitrile, methanol etc.
Epic SCX is a strong cation exchanger on a silica base. It’s suitable for the analysis of organic bases or as a trap column for two dimensional HPLC. Epic SCX utilizes the high density bonding technology which provides for superior cation loading and robustness. Epic SCX is based on bonded aromatic sulfonic acid groups and is available in 10, 5, 3 and 1.8 um particle sizes. Epic SCX will provide for the best performance of any silica based cation exchanger. Epic SCX has an exchange capacity of 3meq/gram making it the strongest silica based cation exchanger available. A separation of four nucleosides is shown below using only ammonium formate as a mobile phase.
Exsil ODS AB
Exsil ODS AB is based on the Exsil 100 silica wich is manufactured by a novel process using advanced technology which ensures an excellent degree of batch-to-batch reproducibility. The ODS AB is an ODS material that is more deactivated than the standard ODS for use with acidic, neutral, or basic compounds without buffer or additive restrictions between pH 2 and 7.

A strong anion exchanger capable of separations of the highest efficiency, comparable with those usually associated with reverse phase chromatography.
Unique Reverse Phase Interaction – FluoroSep-RP Octyl contains bonded perfluorooctyl groups and were designed to separate closely related structural isomers. FluoroSep-RP columns resolve many compounds of pharmaceutical and agricultural interest, especially halogenated molecules. GreenSep 4-Ethyl Pyridine
GreenSep 4-Ethyl Pyridine is an alternative to and provides different selectivity to GreenSep Ethyl Pyridine (2- ethyl pyridine). The chromatogram below shows the separation of chemicals such as ibuprofen, ketoprofen and niflumic acid, without peak shape modifiers, and is a prime example of the superior peak shape performance obtainable with the GreenSep 4-Ethyl Pyridine column.
GreenSep Amino Phenyl
GreenSep Amino Phenyl is a specialty SFC stationary phase that has proven superior to conventional stationary phases in the areas of separation selectivity and loading capacity which was designed for the separation of amines, alcohols and acids by SFC without the use of additives. Works well in Normal Phase mixed mode offering pi-pi interaction and exhibits good base deactivation.
GreenSep Basic exhibits a highly basic character and is ideally suited to high performance/high speed SFC preparative chromatography applications of chemicals containing amine groups. The chromatogram shown below contains chemicals that are functionalized with amine and acidic groups and is a prime example of the superior peak shape performance and separation capacity obtainable with the GreenSep Basic column. It also compares GreenSep Basic with GreenSep Ethyl Pyridine showing the superior reten- tion on GreenSep Basic when compared to GreenSep Ethyl Pyridine.
Unlike many SFC columns which require the addition of amine modifiers to the mobile phase to improve peak shape for basic compounds, GreenSep DEAP does not, greatly simplifying mobile phase composition and fraction collection. This makes GreenSep DEAP the SFC column of choice for the retention and rapid separation of chemical compounds containing strong amine groups.
GreenSep Ethyl Pyridine II
The column ideally suited for the retention and rapid separation of chemicals containing acidic groups. Chemicals that contain acidic groups and demonstrate the retention and separation capability that GreenSep Ethyl Pyridine II can deliver for the SFC chromatographer.
GreenSep FluoroBasic is based on fluorinated imidazole chemistry providing a highly basic and fluorinated character for this stationary phase. The addition of a fluorine groups into this stationary phase can be useful in promoting fluorophilic retention mechanism which can provide improved retention for fluorinated compounds. A fluorophilic retention mechanism can be particular useful in medicinal chemistry and drug discovery, where more than a third of newly approved small molecule drugs contain fluorine.
GreenSep Naphthyl is based on the rigid structure of pi electron rich and the naphthalene molecule provides a basis for many diastereomeric separations. A naphthalene based SFC material, with high bonding density and intrinsic base deactivation due to a rigid structure that also enables the shape selectivity needed for many diastereomeric separations. It also exhibits strong π-π interaction and charge transfer interactions and performs well for diastereomers separations and non-polar compounds.
