The Chromegabond DNAP column is used is donar-acceptor complex chromatography. The DNAP (dinitroanilino propyl) phase, due to the electron deficient character of the aromatic ring, has a particularly strong affinity for aromatic solute differing in the number of aromatic rings. The chromatogram shows a separation of several aromatic solutes differing in the number of condensed rings.
