Supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) is a powerful chromatographic technique for the separation of complex mixtures. It has been useful in the areas of preparative chromatography and rapid analysis chromatography. Column from analytical to preparative sizes are available for all SFC phases including are new high performance 15 mm ID columns. The 15mm ID column provides for a considerable increase in sample loading capacity when compared to 10mm ID column. Many commercial SFC instruments can deliver flow rates ideally suited to the 15 mm ID column format.
