ES Notes November 2009

In this post-Eastern Analytical Symposium 2009 issue of ES Notes we would like to share with you some of the other new products introduced at the symposium including information on ChromegaChiral CC4TM HPLC Columns providing similar performance to Chiral Technologies OZ® columns, Epic PFP-LB, 1.8 micron HPLC Columns is specifically designed to produce enhanced retention for many compounds particularly those that contain polarizable electrons and Partisep columns based on a family of phases equivalent to GE Whatman Partisil® columns.

All designed to be technically informative and practically useful.

ChromegaChiral CC4 is the newest product for high resolution chiral separations. The use of cellulose modified with chlorinated phenyl groups provides for the separation of many previously unresolved/poorly resolved chiral mixtures. This chemical modification provides for similar separation behavior to Chiral Technologies OZ® column. Click on the link for example applications. More ....

Continued research and development efforts have yielded the new Epic PFP-LB 1.8um column. This development has elevated the Pentafluorophenyl (PFP) HPLC stationary phase to the next level of separation performance and combines the unique separation performance of PFP with the high performance characteristics of sub-2 micron ultra high purity silica and the stability of the specially developed low bleed (LB) technology. All combining to produce enhanced retention for many compounds particularly those that contain polarizable electrons.

Partisep™ - ES Industries has developed a series of chemistries to closely match the performance of GE Whatman Partisil® columns. Partisep materials are available in both the standard 10 micron particle size as well as a 5 micron particle size for both shorter run times and higher efficiencies. Most methodologies including USP applications performed on Partisil HPLC columns can be transferred to Partisep products without modification. More ....

P.S. Watch next month for technical information on Preparative HPLC Columns – New 15 mm ID format.  The new 15 mm ID will allow for high performance preparative separation using analytical HPLC and SFC instruments, Sub-2 micron columns – Epic Polar 1.8 um and in our line of Commercially Equivalent Phases – HyperSelect an alternative to Thermo Fisher Hypersil®.
