ESNotes - October 2008

On October 15, 2008 we proudly released our upgraded and improved web site; all to improve your application knowledge base and ease of use of http://www.esind.com/ ... with richer application content, many new products, a part number generator for easy quotation generation and ordering and an area for ESNotes past issues. Here is a sneak preview of the new and updated site:

In this months ESNotes we will introduce application notes on: Epic HILIC-PI columns for the separation of polar compounds, Epic Pheyl-Hexyl columns for a truly superior phenyl based interaction and ChromegabondTM PFP/T which is an excellent media for Taxols.

Epic HILIC-PI HPLC Columns
Epic HILIC-PI is specifically designed for HILIC chromatography and can achieve high performance separations, yield rugged methods and deliver long column life times. Epic HILIC-PI is an excellent choice for samples containing polar amines were superior retention and peak shape are essential.

Epic Phenyl-Hexyl HPLC Columns
Epic Phenyl-Hexyl uses a hexyl-linked phenyl phase. The hexyl alkyl chain provides for unique selectivity and increased hydrolytic stability when compared to propyl-linked chemistry.

ChromegabondTM PFP/T for Taxol Separations
ChromegabondTM PFP/T one of the first HPLC columns specifically for the analysis of Taxol. Chromegabond PFP/T is based on perfluorinated phenyl chemistry bonded to specially treated silica yielding one of the finest analytical columns for the analysis of Taxol mixtures and Taxol related compounds.

P.S. Watch in the November issue of ESNotes for -

Preparative HPLC Columns - New 15 mm ID format. The new 15 mm ID will allow for high performance preparative separation using analytical HPLC and SFC instruments.

RegisCell and Regispack CSP Columns - These columns represent a high performance alternative to commercially available CSP columns.

SFC Engineered Columns - FluoroSep-RP Phenyl SFC is new fluorinated phase for SFC. It takes advantage of the unique interactions that are provided by a fluorinated phenyl phase.
